Greenwood Festival, Tulsa, OK, USA (09.08.03):

Report from Kay Martin:

This was an outdoor festival near the Oklahoma State University campus on the outskirts of Tulsa. By the
time the Killer played at 9:30pm, the sun had set and the outline of the city provided a backdrop for the
show. The day had been hot, but plenty of fans kept the stage cool for Jerry Lee to rock. He was dressed
in a black short sleeve shirt with gold chevrons accenting the button placket, jeans and shiny black
boots. Although complaining a bit about being hoarse, he nevertheless thrilled a huge crowd with extended
versions of many of the following songs and some exceptionally wild piano solos. He was in a great
mood throughout the show, joking frequently with the appreciative crowd between songs.
